The Studio & Location
Why do you shoot from a home studio?
Shooting from my dedicated home studio allows me to provide a relaxed, private, and high-end environment without passing on the massive overhead costs of a commercial rental to you. It means we aren’t rushing against a strict room-booking clock, giving us the time to get the level of intensity and focus your portfolio deserves - however as an optional extra I do shoots in a partnered premium photography studio should you wish to go that extra mile.
Can I bring someone?
Absolutely, you are more than welcome to bring a companion - please limit this to one or two other person(s) as the shooting space can get tight.
Do you require a deposit?
Home Studio: No. I book these on a trust basis. I know what it’s like to be a working actor, so I don’t ask for money upfront. I simply ask that you respect my time.
External Studio: Yes. If we choose to book a specific external partner space, a non-refundable deposit is required to cover the venue's booking fee.
Pricing & Packages
Do you offer student, NHS, or bulk discounts?
To keep things simple and fair, my prices are already set at a highly competitive "industry-entry" rate. I aim to provide professional, cinematic-grade headshots at a price point that is accessible to everyone, from students to established pros, so I do not offer further discounts.  Education establishments, please get in contact for quotes for year group headshots.
Can I buy extra retouched images later?
Absolutely. If you find more shots you love in your proofing gallery, extra retouched images can be purchased for £15 per photo.
The Session
What should I bring to my Singing Reel/Monologue session?
Please provide your backing tracks at least 24 hours in advance of your session.  Dress appropriately and bring any required props or set dressing for your monologue session - feel free to bring a change of clothes if required.
Do I get the RAW/unedited files?
I do not release RAW files. My work is a combination of what we capture in the room and the final edit. You will receive a watermarked proofing gallery to make your selections, and I will deliver the polished, high-resolution final products.
How long does it take to get my photos?
Proofs:
Delivered within 24-48 hours of your session and payment clearing.
Final Edits:
Delivered within 2-3 days of you making your final selections.
Preparation
What should I wear for headshots?
Whatever you are comfortable in and represents you as a person. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, or distracting jewelry. Solid, neutral colours usually work best to keep the focus entirely on your eyes and face.  Variations in texture work  as well (knit, cotton, denim etc.)
How should I wear my hair & makeup?
Where your hair how you normally would wear it - and bring a bobble or hair tie if you'd like to experiment with different styles.  Apply natural makeup, no aggressive highlight or contouring please - that's the lighting's job.
